I linger at the beach.
Here beside the fresh water of Michigan…
And there in the salt water of Florida….
There is something so right and soul-healing about a long walk in the salt air. The waves washing over my feet, the sand squishing between my toes, the squawking of gulls, the gentle rhythm of the surf.
I need it.
And I am always slow to leave it.

My heart is bleeding, Julie!!! I so miss my Californian beaches and my hours on the beaches and at the ocean!!! Thank you for the beautiful photos!!! Much love to you.

No, I lived in the suburban of Buffalo. But since I have been to California 6 years ago I left my heart there. 😀

Hey, isn’t that a song? Sort of? California has beautiful beaches.

I love the beach and unfortunately I live 500 miles from the nearest one. I really enjoyed these photos and they served as a reminder that it’s been such a long time that I went to one.

Thanks Regina! I live too far from the beach, too. There are plenty of lakes within walking distance of my house, but I have to drive 2 hours to Lake Huron or 3 hours to Lake Michigan for a walking beach.
