After the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, I remember wondering whether the people in Australia knew what happened here and whether they cared. I have no idea why I thought about them, in particular, except perhaps that they live the furthest from New York.
Yesterday, as I watched the reports from Paris, I knew the answer was Yes.
An attack on innocent people anywhere is an attack on people everywhere. Yes, we who live far away care. We weep with you and sit stunned with you and beg God with you.
This morning I take a bit of comfort in the knowledge that the court will sit, and the Ancient of Days will take His seat. – Daniel 7
May the Love and Comfort of God be palpable to every broken, frightened, anxious, grieving heart, for as long as it takes.
Come, Lord Jesus.
From one Aussie, I can tell you we sat up for days watching everything unfold during 9/11 we prayed, we cried, we helped in anyway we could. We do the same thing for everyone because we care, just like you do 🙂

Yes, we were watching and weeping with you then, as we watch and weep with France now.
